Barn Tour

The Barn was built in Hampton, NH, about 1820, and was mainly used for cows. Dismantled in 2006, the pieces were relocated to Wolfeboro and rebuilt on the site of the original Clark Barn. The reconstruction was mostly done by WHS volunteers and the Barn opened to the public in 2018. The interior shows the original post and beam construction and many wide floorboards and walls. Modified to meet modern standards, it is ADA compatible and includes rest rooms. There is an extensive collection of archival records for research. On display is an eclectic mix of items normally found in an agricultural area, items related to the industries in the local area, items found in the early house, and a few oddities from the early 1800's to the mid 1900's.
