Edwards-on-Wentworth opened in 1941 with housekeeping cabins, dining facilities, and entertainment. The location was on Whitten Neck Road, and included 50 acres bounded by Lake Wentworth, Crescent Lake, and the Smith River. The property was subdivided in the late 1970's and the restaurant closed about 1990. The large barn on the left is on Whitten Neck Road.
