Wolfeboro Historical Society Digital Archive Postcard Archive Churches

The First Christian Church was formed in Goose Corner, a community centered around the junction of North Main Street and Waumbeck Road, in 1812. First meeting in homes, then a Meeting House in 1838, the church moved to this location on North Main Street (opposite the Wolfeboro Inn) in 1858. Card is c. 1940.
