A view of South Main Street. The woman on the left is crossing Railroad Avenue. The Bank Building behind her has been remodeled many times over the years. On the right is the Avery Building. The building past the Avery Building has been replaced. Notice the many elm trees lining the streets; these were destroyed by the Dutch Elm disease in the 1950's and 1960's. Postcard is dated 1909.
