Wolfeboro Historical Society Digital Archive Museum Tours Barn Tour

Agricultural items include a feed sack and seed packages from the 1920's. On the left is an apple picker; apple trees were trimmed low to avoid needing ladders. The basket is placed over the apple, then a twist allows a blade to cut the stem and retrieve the apple. The basket would hold several apples before it had to be lowered to empty into a basket.
