This is a model of Colonial Governor John Wentworth's mansion, made from descriptions in various documents. Construction was mostly completed by 1769, but as the mansion burned down in 1820, there are no photographs available. The mansion was intended to be the Governor's Palace, as he planned to make Wolfeboro the Capitol of the Province of New Hampshire. The model is on display at the Clark Museum Complex.
