Wolfeboro Historical Society Digital Archive Road Trips State Historic Markers

This map shows the route of the Governor Wentworth Road from Portsmouth to his mansion site in Wolfeboro in 1769, then extending to Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH, in 1771. Many portions of the road later became part of the State's road system and are still in use today.
