The red brick Huggins Hospital was dedicated on Nov. 11, 1924, on the present site. The land was previously a dairy farm, and was donated by George A. and Emma Carpenter. Built by J. Frank Goodwin and Andrew F. Doe, it had a 24 bed capacity. Photo is in 1950's; the front is about the same as built in 1924.
